Food and drinks
Playground De Ballebak Rotterdam Zuid has an extensive variety of food and drinks with enough choice for everyone. Besides fried products we also have healthy products. It is not allowed to consume food and drinks you brought from home.
For most food allergies (for example gluten allergy) we have alternatives. In case of food allergy, chips are fried separately from other snacks. We advise you to contact us well in advance.
Our birthday parties are included food and drinks. Every party can be extended with, for example, a snack, birthday cake or a candy bag.
Does your group of family have special wishes? We can talk about putting together an arrangement that will meet with your specific wishes.
In our kitchen we work by the regulations of the HACCP food process of control. This is a process initiated by the European Union.
Allergens are proteins that can trigger allergic reactions. These can be present in certain food ingredients. We want to inform our customers in advance that our allergen information is retrievable and available. This information can be viewed at the desk of the branch you are visiting. The Ballebak gives the information about 14 allergens for non-prepacked products.
Allergens can be divided into:
- Food allergens: enter the body via food, for example proteins in cow’s milk and peanuts.
- Inhalation allergens: enter the body via inhalation for example pollen pollen or dust mite excrement.
- Contact allergens: enter the body through contact with the skin, for example ingredients of cosmetics.
For us the food allergens apply. Of these 14 ingredients that can cause an allergic reaction are indicated to us if they occur in the product. For example, gluten-containing grains such as wheat, rye, barley, oats, spelled and khorasan wheat (formerly kamut), egg, fish, peanuts, nuts such as almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, cashew nuts, pecans, Brazil nuts, pistachios and macadamia nuts, soya, milk including lactose, crustaceans, molluscs, celery, mustard, sesame seeds, sulphite, lupine.
We treat your food allergy / food intolerance very carefully.
Cross-contamination of allergens is never 100% possible in our kitchen.
